It looks as if we’ll find out very soon where former Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson will be headed for his final year of eligibility

Former Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson has officially graduated from the school, and we could learn where he will play his football in 2015, ESPN’s Joe Schad is reporting. In addition to the decision coming soon, Schad is also reporting that the Florida State Seminoles are still in the lead for his services.

Golson decided a little over a week ago that he would be leaving Notre Dame, the program that he led to the BCS National Championship Game in 2012, after it was more or less guaranteed that Malik Zaire would be grabbing the reins of the starting job this fall.

Since then, there have been three schools tied to Golson, them being the aforementioned Seminoles, the rival Florida Gators and the Alabama Crimson Tide. All three are in search of starting quarterbacks for their respective seasons, but Golson can only choose one.

Since the beginning of his “free agency,” though, Florida State has been the rumored front runner and Golson even took a visit to Tallahassee last week. Then, in a twist that intrigued a lot of people, he visited the Gators the very next day.

But for right now, it does look as if all signs are pointing towards Everett Golson being the new quarterback on the Florida State Seminoles’ roster this week.
