NASCAR’s best will take the track at Charlotte Motor Speedway as they try to pick up the win, and for some a spot in the chase for the Sprint Cup Championship.
All week Joe Gibbs Racing dominated the track, starting with Denny Hamlin winning the All-Star Race. The Coca-Cola 600 will be no different as Matt Kenseth will start on the pole, while his teammates Carl Edwards and Denny Hamlin sit inside the top five.
Kevin Harvick, who has hung in the top two for eight of 11 races and the All-Star Race, was one of the fastest cars in qualifying. If it wasn’t for the final round, he might have been on the pole.
He will start eighth and with the way he has been driving lately, he has to be one of the favorites to jump up and win the race.
With the Coca-Cola 600 set to shake up the season, here is the starting grid for the 400-lap race.
