FSU commit Zaquandre White rips off ridiculous run
FSU commit Zaquandre White ripped off a ridiculous run that must be seen to be believed.
As a diploma-wielding alumnus from the University of Florida, this video of FSU commit Zaquandre White ripping off an insane run should scare the ever-loving hell out of me. Then again, I watched every snap of the Missouri game bloodletting this past year, and have been numb to emotions ever since.
But enough about me and back to the run. It’s absolutely ridiculous. First White counters off-tackle to the strong side. Then, after being corralled, he cuts across the field to the weak side while looking for space. At that time, it looks as though every defender on the field takes a run at him – to no avail. White sheds about 70 (rough guessitmate) tackles, picks up a few blocks, sprints allllll the way back to the right sideline and punctuates the run with a nice little frolic over a defender into the end zone.
Watch this video 10 times over and you’ll see something new each time. Speed, power, field vision, explosive running: the kid has it all.
"Here is a look that does the run way more justice. #applypressurePosted by Earnest Graham on Saturday, May 23, 2015"
Here’s another angle, just because we have the means.
"I’m sure I am expected to say this because this kid plays for me, but anyone who knows me knows I am HARD on Runningbacks…I don’t care who you are…lol. Anyhow, this kid is hands down the best rb talent to ever come from this area and pretty much every scout that has come here this spring has said he is the best in the country in his class. Not only does he stand out as the most talented to ever come from here, but as far as upside and potential I haven’t seen much like him at any level. His Power/Agility/Short area burst/lateral cuts mixed with his skills as a receiver are just rare….period. He sparked(no pun intended) our team last night before lightning shut us down, but it was a great team effort by the RED KNIGHTS and would have been great to finish but at the very least we got the chance to witness this run. Pardon the brief cut in the clip, the camera man thought the play was over.Posted by Earnest Graham on Saturday, May 23, 2015"
Bonkers, right?
White’s coach is, ironically, former Florida running back Ernest Graham. In a Facebook post about the run, Graham was effusive with praise for the young back.

White is ranked by 247Sports Composite (an industry-wide average) as a 4-star prospect, the 11th best player in the loaded state of Florida, and the 11th best running back in the 2017 class. If runs of this caliber become the norm, expect him to shoot up the rankings even higher. And though the 2017 cycle is lightyears away in wild world of recruiting, Florida State’s national dominance over the past three seasons has eased the way for Jimbo Fisher hold on to prospects – especially considering how he pretty much runs the state of Florida these days. Just another awesome back primed to join the stable, and another cog in the juggernaut’s machinery.
