The Ole Miss Football program had a successful year in 2014 and they now have rings to commemorate it all
The 2014 college football season gave us a lot more exciting memories and one of them was the resurgence of Ole Miss Rebels football. Last season coach Hugh Freeze and his crew lit the college football world on fire in the early part of the year, making everyone believe that they were legitimate national title contenders.
However, as we would come to find out, they just couldn’t complete the mission in the end, finishing the year at 9-4. Then to make matters completely worse, they were absolutely obliterated by TCU in the Peach Bowl.
Still, though, overall the Rebels had quite the entertaining season and now they have something to commemorate it all. These rings…
We can make fun of the fact that the Rebels are getting rings for a season that ultimately turned out to be an epic failure, but when it boils down to it, this was one of the more fun seasons in program history. Hell, remember the scene in Oxford when they beat Alabama?
When the players look at these rings, they should look at that time! (Because definitely don’t look at these rings and think about the Peach Bowl. That is not a good idea.)
