Carl Edwards had some difficulty in the pits as a crew member fell over and a wrench got stuck in the roof of his car.

Welcome to the blooper reel, Carl Edwards.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t really his fault either. As Edwards came in for a pit stop, his crew began working on his car. When he went to leave the pits, one of the crew members didn’t quite get the wrench out of the roof quick enough.

As the crew member went to remove the wrench, part of it ended up getting stuck in the roof of his car and Edwards would have to come back around to have it removed.

To add insult to injury for the crew member, as he went to pull the wrench out, he fell flat down.

While he wasn’t hurt, he gave it his all to get that wrench out and ended up paying the price for it. In fact, he had the wrench out, but the last piece broke off and ended up getting stuck in the car.

After winning Charlotte last week, it doesn’t look like Carl Edwards is having the same luck this week as he had last week at the Coca-Cola 600.
