Ohio State’s Tyvis Powell tried to get a little mouthy with mom and he got some chores for his efforts

We all know that Ohio State defensive back Tyvis Powell is one of the brightest personalities in all of college football, we learned this in the lead-up to Ohio State’s national title win. He’s not afraid at all to share funny moments from his life on Twitter, either, and he recently provided us with one of the best of them all.

While waiting for the college football season to begin so he can help Ohio State navigate their quest to repeat as the kings of the game, hi mother had asked him to mow the lawn. Wait, you mean someone as famous as the starting safety for THE Ohio State University has to cut some grass? No way.

Well, that’s apparently what Powell thought, until Mama reminded him who the real boss was.

Powell had better realize that he can go on to play in 10 Pro Bowls and win five Super Bowl titles, but when Mama says cut the grass, he’s gonna get his butt up and cut the grass; it’s as simple as that.

Now, you know there is a response coming from his roommate Cardale Jones on this one. We just have to wait for it.
