Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh was apparently not familiar of the weight that Paul Finebaum carries in the college football world

Well, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh clearly does not care whether or not he offends college football fans in the south, whether it’s with his satellite camps or by the fact that he clearly doesn’t know who the most famous radio personality in the region is.

As we all (reluctantly) saw last week, Harbaugh was holding a camp in Alabama, the same camp that gave us the infamous picture with the new Wolverines head coach running around shirtless. Well what also happened on that day when a fellow coach came up to him was even better, in all reality.

A fellow coach approached Harbaugh and told him that he was the talk of the Paul Finebaum show that day. Well, as AL.com chronicles, Harbaugh actually had no earthly idea who Paul Finebaum was.

"A coach approaches, fixes his collar and tells him he was the talk of the Paul Finebaum Show that day. Finebaum, whose show is nationally syndicated and televised on the SEC Network, discussed Harbaugh’s appearance in Alabama with his legions of dedicated callers.Harbaugh looks confused and shakes his head. He doesn’t know who Paul Finebaum is.The coach continues, “He’s a radio show host.”Again, nothing from Harbaugh.“He’s a big deal down here in SEC country,” another coach chimes in."

That is just absolutely priceless. The head coach of one of the most prominent football programs in the history of college football has no idea who the man is that creates such a stir on a regular basis. In actuality, Paul Finebaum isn’t just a regional personality anymore. With the exposure that he gets on the SEC Network, coupled with his appearances on ESPN throughout the season, he’s become a national name in the landscape of the game.

However, that clearly means nothing to the man that’s trying to turn his alma mater around.
