With just a few months to go until the college football season officially gets underway, the No. 1 story heading in has to be the Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback competition. With three very viable, proven options, there’s no telling in which direction head coach Urban Meyer will go.

Now as far as discussing this with the media goes, you might not get much out of the head coach. However, when it comes to two of Ohio State’s most amazing fans, he’ll be more than happy to sit down and talk about the quarterbacks with them.

Last Sunday Meyer had a conversation with Ryan Hardy and Grant Reed, two young fans that have dealt with something that brings more pressure than any quarterback competition can–cancer.

These two brave fans were more than happy to share their opinions on the battle as well, with Reed being in the corner of Cardale Jones keeping his spot. However, Meyer was quick to remind him that Braxton Miller and J.T. Barrett are back, making that scenario a little difficult.

“But that first and second string are back,” Meyer said.

While we all desperately want answers as to who the Ohio State starting quarterback will be, there is nothing like watching Meyer sit down with these two to have a discussion about the battle. You can watch the awesome conversation below.
