We tend to see some of the best meltdowns in baseball come from the minor league level, and thanks to Frisco RoughRiders manager Joe Mikulik, we have our latest to sit back and enjoy.

During a recent game with the Midland RockHounds, Mikulik came out to argue a controversial call with the umpires. Well his banter eventually got him tossed from the game, and that’s where the fun really began.

Mikulik went on to completely lose his mind, and at one point during the tirade, he treated his shoe like a football and punted that thing about as high as it could go.

He got some serious hang time out of that shoe. That legit looked like an NFL-level punt. OK, maybe high school level, but it’s still pretty impressive nonetheless.

Now for the best part: According to the description on YouTube, what we see in the video isn’t all that went down here.

"In the top of the 5th inning of the Frisco RoughRiders vs Midland RockHounds a blown out call at home led to outrage. After being ejected Frisco Manager Joe Mikulik put on a spectacular show with this epic rant. Mikulik went on to throw his helmet, shoes, and a trash can. Objects thrown not in the video include a medicine ball, his shirt and towels."

A medicine ball. He threw a medicine ball.

There really is nothing better than a good old-fashioned minor league baseball meltdown.
