All 30 teams are in the big FanDuel tournaments tonight. That gives us 30 pitchers to choose from. Since most of the league is back to intraleague play, we have plenty of statistics to back these picks up. Who are the best bets? Let’s find out!

NOTE: these picks are based solely on statistics. Some players have never faced their opponents, or have very little experience against them. I am not saying that none of those are good picks. This is based on statistical analysis only. If you have a gut feeling, then by all means, follow that. This is not an exact science. I just provide the facts.

Here are my FanDuel pitcher picks for June 19:

High Priced ($8,500 and up):

Best Bet:

Sonny Gray, Athletics ($10,100): Gray has held the Angels to a .188 average in 165 at bats with 49 strikeouts. He has given up two home runs, but they were both solo shots to Mike Trout. Gray has got his revenge though. He has struck out Trout 10 times in 22 at bats.

Honorable Mention:

Chris Sale, White Sox ($11,000): This is a tough call since Chris Sale has held the Rangers to a .194 batting average in 134 at bats with 53 strikeouts. He is a hell of a plan B. Call Gray and Sale plan 1 and plan 1a.

Stay Away:

A.J. Burnett, Pirates ($9,200): Burnett really hasn’t been bad against the Nationals. They have hit only .216 off of him in 218 at bats. That said, he has given up eight home run and 26 RBI. I would chalk this more up to just how great the top tier of pitchers has been against their opponents today than to any ineffectiveness by Burnett.

Next: Who Is The Best Mid-Range Option?

Mid-Range Options ($7,000 to $8,000):

Best Bet:

Rubby De La Rosa, Diamondbacks ($7,000): De La Rosa has done well so far against San Diego in his young career. The Padres are hitting only .235 in 51 at bats off of Rubby with a homer and five RBI. If you don’t want to spend the money on pitching today, then De La Rosa could be a really good option tonight.

Honorable Mention:

Marco Estrada, Blue Jays ($7,300): Estrada has done pretty well against the Orioles in his career so far. Baltimore is only hitting .231 off of him. but they do have three home runs off of him. Still, Estrada has racked up 19 strikeouts in 52 at bats. His numbers say that he is a solid bet against the O’s.

Stay Away:

Dan Haren, Marlins ($7,900): Haren has been hit hard by the current Reds lineup. The Reds are hitting .310 off of him with seven home runs and 15 RBI in 126 at bats. Haren carries more of a risk than most pitchers tonight.

Next: Are There Any Good Cheap Options?

May 29, 2015; Houston, TX, USA; Houston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers (43) delivers a pitch during the second inning against the Chicago White Sox at Minute Maid Park. Mandatory Credit: Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Cheap Options ($6,900 and under):

Best Bet:

Lance McCullers, Astros ($6,700): Yes, I know that this is a small sample size, but whenever you can hold a team hitless over 14 at bats, it bears mentioning. McCullers has walked four, but he has never given up a hit to a current Seattle Mariner in his career. Oh, and the game in his Safeco Field.

Honorable Mention

Adam Warren, Yankees ($6,700): The Tigers have hit just .196 off of Warren so far in his career. They have also failed to take him deep, but they have driven in six runs. Still, if they are not getting on base, they will have a hard time scoring runs.

Stay Away:

Jorge De La Rosa, Rockies ($6,400): De La Rosa usually pitches well at Coors Field. The problem is that the Brewers, particularly Ryan Braun, have hit him hard. Milwaukee is hitting .317 in 60 at bats off of De La Rosa with three homers, 14 RBI, and 14 walks to just 10 strikeouts. Stay away from this one.

Stay tuned for the hitter picks!
