Time and time again we’ve seen Minnesota Timberwolves star Zach LaVine throw down some nasty dunks, but what we saw on Tuesday was pretty new.
LaVine was making the rounds at ESPN and he dropped by for a visit to SportsNation. Well while he was there, he decided that he was going to show Marcellus Wiley just how dangerous he can be when dunking a basketball.
As you’d imagine, the former NFL defensive standout pretty much got put on a poster by LaVine.
Marcellus Wiley accomplished a lot on the defensive side of the ball in his NFL career, but there was literally nothing that he could do to stop what LaVine was bringing. Once the former UCLA Bruin started his charge towards that little basket they had in the studio there, it was all over.
Now the Timberwolves are going to hope they see a lot more of stuff like this in LaVine’s second year next season, and with the team holding the No. 1 overall draft pick later this week, he’ll have some more young help with him also as the franchise tries to turn their fortunes around.
