Ravens still upset about Super Bowl power outage in World Cup tweet
By Mike Dyce
The Baltimore Ravens troll the curious power outage at the Super Bowl in a tweet about the Women’s World Cup Final.
The United States have a comfortable 5-2 lead in the second half of the Women’s World Cup Final and fans are already planning their celebrations.
The Baltimore Ravens though were a little bit more cautiously optimistic about the way things were going with a tweet referencing the Super Bowl outage.
Yeah, it looks like the Ravens are still bitter and upset about the power outage in the Super Bowl XLVII. The Ravens had a massive lead after Jacoby Jones returned a kick off for a touchdown in the second half of the game.
Then the power went out. After it was restored, the San Francisco 49ers made a massive run and scored and threatened to win the game. A late pass from Colin Kaepernick nearly gave them the lead but was just out of the reach of Michael Crabtree.
Of course the United States women’s national team wouldn’t have to worry about this because they’re not playing in a dome.
