The college football season is just a little over a month away here in 2015, and as we know, before the action on the field that we’re all waiting for gets started, we first get to hear from coaches and players in conference media days. One of the conferences that a lot of people are looking forward to hearing from is the Big Ten at Big Ten Media Days.

After being the laughing stock among college football pundits for the past few years, the Big Ten, mainly Ohio State, broke through the glass ceiling in 2014. With the new playoff format in place, the Buckeyes rolled their way past Alabama and Oregon en route to their first national title since 2002. It was a moment that some believed signaled a shift in power within the college football landscape.

Of course, then we’ll love to hear from the players and coaches from the other teams in the Big Ten that are looking to knock the Buckeyes off their perch and maybe make a title run of their own in 2015.

Another aspect of Big Ten Media Days that many can’t wait to see is Jim Harbaugh, the new head man of the Michigan Wolverines that has been tasked with bringing his alma mater back to prominence.

Big Ten Media Days on July 30-31 should not disappoint at all, and on Thursday the player representatives for each school were announced for Chicago later this month.
