If Zach LaVine can play like this during the NBA season, then the Timberwolves will be quite the dangerous squad

After selecting Karl-Anthony Towns with the No. 1 overall pick recently in the 2015 NBA Draft, there’s no doubt that the Minnesota Timberwolves are building quite the team set to compete in the NBA for years to come. One of the other pieces to that puzzle is one of their draft selections from last year, shooting guard Zach LaVine, who seems to be doing some serious work on his game.

LaVine took part recently in a Seattle Pro Am, and while he was doing so, he showed off some improved shooting, draining in this game-winning three-pointer.

While this was quite the amazing feat, LaVine actually put on a show in this game, dropping in 49 points total.

This wasn’t an NBA contest, but this is a pretty good sign. For the Timberwolves to turn that corner eventually, they’re going to need LaVine to step up like this. If LaVine can get his game to another level like this, then that does indeed mean that the Timberwolves will be a force to be reckoned with sooner rather than later.
