The college football season is just around the corner as we roll out of July and into the month of August, which means that it’s time to start bringing out the All-American teams. On Thursday, it was the ACC that revealed who they believe some of the best players in the conference will be this year.

To the surprise of basically no one, the offense is led by Clemson quarterback DeShaun Watson. After an impressive showing in his true freshman season, despite battling knee issues, Watson is expected to be one of the best signal callers in the country and some even have him on their darkhorse Heisman lists. Once one of the more highly touted prospects coming out of high school, Watson seems primed and ready to make his mark on not only the ACC, but college football as a whole.

On defense, the name that stands out the most is the young man whom many consider the best defensive back in the country, Florida State’s Jalen Ramsey. Time and time again last season as the Seminoles made their way to the College Football Playoff, Ramsey came up big for his team and got them out of some sticky situations. This season, people expect more of the same from the hard-hitting corner.
