Kendrys Morales scored on what was maybe the most insane slide that you will ever see on Friday against the Blue Jays

Throughout the years in baseball, we’ve seen players score runs in some pretty insane ways. Well what we saw on Friday night from the Royals’ Kendrys Morales may be near the top of the list.

Friday night the Royals headed up north to take on the Toronto Blue Jays, a Blue Jays team that after a very good trade season, has their sights set on making a run in the AL East. However, you’re not gonna get to the top of the division if you let this happen.

With Morales on base, Ben Zobrist laced a two-run single, and the run by Morales was just one of the craziest things that you will ever see.

Morales literally came to a dead stop, but then he got very lucky. By all rights, Russell Martin of the Blue Jays should have had himself an easy tag here. Instead, he completely blew by the statue that was Morales at the moment, allowing the run to score.

Again, if you’re going to make a run at the playoffs, gotta play a little more attention than that!
