Jim Harbaugh found out that Nicki Minaj feels exactly the same way about Michigan that he does.

Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh has never been closely aligned with conventional norms. Whether that means playing shirtless at a football camp, losing his mind on the sidelines of a game, or professing his love for rap music, Harbaugh is going to do things his way.

Harbaugh’s way also includes a deep love for Michigan as he prepares to coach his first season for the Wolverines. When Nicki Minaj tweeted out that Michigan was her favorite place in the world, Harbaugh couldn’t stand silent:

We’ll forgive Harbaugh for not just quoting the tweet and instead taking a screenshot only because it adds to the hilarity of it all. Also adding to the humor is Harbaugh assessing that he “can’t disagree” but “can only agree.” There’s a lesson in redundancy for everyone.

Assuming that Harbaugh took the screenshot of Minaj’s tweet himself, it’s strange that he’s not following her. With his love for hip-hop alone, you’d think Minaj would be someone he wants to keep up with. Now knowing that she’s a fan of the state of Michigan, it’s even stranger.

The fact that Harbaugh found that tweet two days after it was sent from someone he presumably doesn’t follow lends itself to the notion that Harbaugh loves Michigan so much that he’s out here just searching for things about the state on Twitter. Actually, that’s probably exactly what Harbaugh is doing on Sunday afternoons.
