Kevin Sumlin made a joke about Steve Sarkisian on Twitter and then quickly deleted it.
That dern Twitter is a pesky litte feller. On Saturday morning, Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin was bit by the technology bug when a tweet he apparently meant as a DM went public. In the tweet, which reads like a text message, the Aggies’ head man made a joke that his recipient should’ve come to Sumlin’s house, though things didn’t get too wild because Sumlin “didn’t pull a Sark after Dark.”

Sumlin was, of course, referring to USC head coach Steve Sarkisian. Last Saturday, Sarkisian imbibed a bit too much at USC’s Salute to Troy event, gave an NSFW speech and had to be pulled off stage by Athletic Director Pat Haden. Sark was reprimanded by his bosses, punished by his players and has since apologized on several occasions and admitted to seeking treatment.
Nevertheless, he’s become a punchline among fans and apparently coaches, and now along the Internet. Cue the #SarkAfterDark Twitter movement.
Never use text when you can tweet something hilarious. #SarkAfterDark https://t.co/w0bwgA9lmH

It's a darned shame Kevin Sumlin thought better of this tweet and deleted it. #SarkAfterDark pic.twitter.com/Lg4MMwEz9j

I wonder if #SarkAfterDark is how he gets in good with the mothers of recruits...

#sarkafterdark is going to really come in handy for late night Pac-12 stuff this year. Can't wait.

Yup, this thing is going to have legs all season long. It takes only one man to start a revolution. Kevin Sumlin, had his moment in the sun today.
(fingers crossed TAMU and USC meet in a New Year’s Day bowl).
