It’s back. It’s back! It’s finally back! ESPN’s College GameDay returned on Saturday for Week 1 of the regular season. The premier episode of this season was live from Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth, Texas for the banner non-conference showdown between Wisconsin and Alabama.

The Badgers entered ranked at No. 20 in the country, but with a lot of new looks. Paul Chryst takes over for the departed Gary Andersen, and running back Corey Clement takes over for Heisman finalist Melvin Gordon. Sconnie Nation will be formidable this year, though with quite a different complexion.

As for Bama, the more things change, the more they stay the same. For the second consecutive season, Nick Saban and Lane Kiffin are struggling to make heads of the team’s starting quarterback situation. But with Saban on the sidelines, Derrick Henry in the backfield and another strong defense guided deftly by Kirby Smart, the Tide enter ranked No. 3 overall.

College GameDay also featured a major change: for the first time in show history Chris Fowler isn’t at the helm. Fowler has permanently moved into the announcing booth, and handed the keys to ESPN’s college football tentpole to Rece Davis.

One thing that was constant for GameDay was the signs. Once again, fans brought the thunder with a bevy of creativity. Let’s take a look at the best signs from College GameDay Week 1 in Fort Worth.

"Win one game, and people on GameDay make signs saying you should run for president… Smh"
