College Football Rankings: Week 2 AP Top 25 released; Alabama jumps TCU

A look at the AP Top 25 college football rankings as we head into the second week of the season

Week 1 of the 2015 college football season is now officially in the books, meaning that it’s now time to keep this train moving along into Week 2. Of course, before we can do that, everyone is waiting to see how much the AP Top 25 changed after Week 1.

The first week of the college football season was capped off on Monday night by the No. 1 team in the country, the Ohio State Buckeyes. Although they got off to a slow start in the first half, the defending national champions came out in the second half and just had their way with Virginia Tech. This certainly looks like a team that’s ready to defend that title of theirs.

Maybe the biggest question, though, comes after No. 1. Last week’s No. 2, TCU, struggled a bit against a tough Minnesota team. Meanwhile, No. 3 Alabama put on quite the impressive performance against No. 20 Wisconsin. The Crimson Tide may end up getting the nod over TCU after what took place this weekend, meaning that chaos will already be hitting us here after just one week.

That being said, here’s a look at the AP Top 25 poll heading into Week 2.
