The Tim Tebow saga takes another turn, as the former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback returns to his job as an analyst on the SEC Network.
Tim Tebow nearly made the 53-man roster with the Philadelphia Eagles. Many thought the Matt Barkley trade to the Arizona Cardinals, combined with Tebow’s prowess in the red zone that Tebow would stick in Philadelphia with the Eagles in 2015.
After being cut, Tebow is back with the SEC Network on SEC Nation. Tebow will make his return to the popular panel of SEC experts on Saturday when the SEC Nation crew travels to Nashville for the Georgia-Vanderbilt Game.
So excited to be back with my #SECNation Family this Saturday! Nashville here we come! http://t.co/F3FOJ50puo

Tebow’s return to the crew brings the SEC Nation team to six: Host Joe Tessitore, former LSU Tigers analyst Marcus Spears, ESPN Radio’s Paul Finebaum, former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Greg McElroy, reporter Kaylee Hartung, and now Tebow.
For as much flack as Tebow has taken for his inconsistencies as a passer or for his outspoken comments on his faith, Tebow did a great job as an SEC Nation analyst last season. He gave great insight about what it takes to win in the brutal SEC. Tebow won two national championships and a Heisman Trophy while with the Florida Gators.

Surely, there will be somebody out there clamoring for Tebow’s third attempt at an NFL comeback. After leading the Denver Broncos to the NFL playoffs in 2011, Tebow didn’t fare well at his other three NFL stops (New York Jets, New England Patriots, and now the Philadelphia Eagles).
While he does have a nice backup gig analyzing SEC Football, could Tebow Time happen during the 2015 NFL Season? Many thought he could/should have made the final roster for the Eagles.
Should injuries decimate a team’s quarterback depth chart or an offensive coordinator believes that Tebow could help his team, perhaps Tebow gets one last shot in the NFL. For now, he’s back to his SEC Nation gig for the time being.
