It’s finally time for meaningful football which means fantasy football is back and can be better than ever after a long offseason laden down with PSI, DUI, and federal court watching. Once things get underway tonight in Foxboro, everyone’s attention will be on Sunday as Week 1 gets underway in earnest.  If you are planning on trying to win some quick cash in daily fantasy sports (DFS) and one-week leagues, check out my FanDuel fantasy football picks on the following slides.

More from Atlanta Falcons

DraftKings and FanDuel have definitely been promoting their leagues hard, and here at FanSided our goal is to help you find just the right picks for whichever site or format you decide to play. In the box on the right you can see our latest coverage including the latest injury updates and some waiver wire pickups to watch.  Each Thursday of the regular season, you can also find my DraftKings fantasy football picks and my FanDuel fantasy football picks here on Fansided.  While there is definitely overlap, each post is fine-tuned to fit the format and pricing of the individual sites.

To find all our fantasy football coverage throughout the season, drop a bookmark on our fantasy football hub and follow @FansidedFantasy on Twitter.  I’ll be happy to answer as many of your lineup questions as I can on Twitter throughout the days leading up to kickoff and be tweeting fantasy relevant info throughout the gameday action as well.

Week 1 is one of the hardest of the season since many of the picks are based on speculation and hype with so few meaningful numbers to break down. For your FanDuel strategy, go with players who you think are primed for big seasons, underpriced, and in good matchups to start the season.  I’ve listed some of my favorites on the following slides and included my lineups on the final slide of this post.

For your lineup, I suggest blending in some of my picks that you like with some of your favorites to put together a lineup you can enjoy cheering for on Sunday and Monday.  For each of the major positions, I’ve separated my picks for wee 1 into a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options. I’ve included a slide for tight ends, kickers, and team defense options as well.

Good luck this week with your FanDuel fantasy football picks, and hopefully we can all earn some cash this weekend with these options!
