TCU came down to fourth down inside the five-yard line to win vs. Texas Tech and Aaron Green came up with a miracle

The TCU Horned Frogs and Texas Tech Red Raiders met in an affair defined by offense. The two teams combined for 107 points on the afternoon, highlights were a plenty, and defensive stops were at a premium. However, it was TCU running back Aaron Green who came up with the wildest, most incredible highlight of the night in the waning minutes of all of this insanity.

With less than a minute to play, the Horned Frogs were trailing by four points and fourth down was upon them inside the five-yard line. In one last effort to find the endzone, Trevone Boykin looked for the prolific Josh Doctson in the middle of the endzone, but Doctson could only tip it. That’s when Green swooped in from out of the frame to make the incredible catch and give TCU what ultimately was the game-winning touchdown:

There’s so much greatness happening. It’s incredibly heady for Green to even be near the play in that situation, but then he goes and makes that acrobatic catch and has the wherewithal to tap his foot in-bounds so the score counts.

Call it a miracle or lucky, but Green’s catch is a highlight that we’ll be seeing for a long time.
