No. 14 Texas A&M Aggies vs. Arkansas Razorbacks
The Texas A&M Aggies (3-0) will look to extend their undefeated start to the season this Saturday, as they head to Arlington, Texas for a showdown with the Arkansas Razorbacks (1-2) in the 2015 Southwest Classic at AT&T Stadium.
The Aggies have shown plenty of promise so far this year, while the Razorbacks have been nothing short of a disappointment. None of that will matter this weekend, however, as both teams begin conference play.
Texas A&M is led by Kyle Allen under center, who has looked impressive after a shaky start to the season against Arizona State. On defense, the Aggies boast arguably the most dynamic defensive end duo in the country in Myles Garrett and Daeshon Hall.
Arkansas is hoping to rebound from back-to-back losses at home to unranked opponents. If the Razorbacks are going to do so, it will be because senior quarterback Brandon Allen and junior running back Alex Collins step up in a big way.
Once a longtime rivalry in the now-defunct Southwestern Conference, Texas A&M and Arkansas decided to renew their annual matchup in 2009 after not playing each other for 17 seasons. The Razorbacks lead the series 41-27-3 overall, but the Aggies have won all three contests since joining the SEC in 2012.
The game will be televised on ESPN, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET. Live streaming will also be available via Watch ESPN.
