Andrew Luck is coming up big in crunch time for the Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts entered the fourth quarter trailing the Tennessee Titans by 13 points and with what felt like zero momentum on their side. Luck had thrown two ugly interceptions on the afternoon and the Colts looked in danger of dropping to 0-3 on the season. That’s when Luck’s clutch gene kicked in and he initiated a comeback.

It started early in the fourth quarter as Luck marched the Colts offense on a 12-play, 98-yard drive that was topped off with a 35-yard touchdown pass to Phillip Dorsett, which Dorsett also went up and made a big play on:

Even if that throw wasn’t perfect for Luck, it seemed to give him some confidence. The Colts picked off Marcus Mariota on the second play of the Titans’ next drive. On the very next play, Luck found Donte Moncrief with a gorgeous throw to the corner of the endzone:

After extra points on both of the Luck touchdown passes, the Colts took a 28-27 lead and gained a hold on a game that seemed far out of their grasp. Despite all of the fire that he’s been under early in this 2015 season, it’s moments like these why Luck is so highly regarded in this league.
