The Oregon Ducks are hoping a white and yellow uniform will get them back to their winning ways vs. Colorado

The Oregon Ducks have fallen out of the polls and have looked exceptionally mediocre through their first four games of the 2015 college football season. Up against the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday night, the Ducks will be looking to turn their fortunes toward a more favorable route. As always, they’ll be doing so in style.

Oregon unveiled their uniform combination for the Colorado game on Saturday afternoon and they’ve chosen to go with yellow helmets and pants complimented by white jerseys with the black numbers with yellow outlines:

That combo is certainly sleek, which is the norm for the Ducks. However, Oregon and the Oregon State Beavers have a special, heartfelt touch to their uniforms this week following the tragedy at Umpqua Community College this week. Both the Ducks and Beavers will have a patch on the back of their helmets honoring the victims of the shooting at UCC:

Regardless of how good the Oregon uniforms look, this is a fantastic gesture of compassion and solidarity within the state by both Oregon and Oregon State. With that patch, it’s hard to be on the side of the Ducks and Beavers on Saturday night.
