It’s a big night of NBA basketball tonight with ten games on tap across the country.  While there are a plethora of stars in action in the games tonight, there are some great value plays as well which can form a solid backbone to your DFS fantasy basketball team for DraftKings.  To check out the stars and sleepers I think are ready to help you tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

Most of the games tonight start at 8:00 when a whopping five games get underway giving turbo players a good slate of options.  If you are planning to play the full night’s schedule, the action gets underway at 7:00 PM ET as the Wizards host the Raptors followed  at 7:30 as the Nets and Magic get underway in Brooklyn. The national TV coverage on ESPN picks up at 8:00 focusing on the Cavs in Minnesota to face the Timberwolves.  At 8:30 and 9:30 are a pair of inter-conference games as the Spurs host the Knicks and the Suns try to beat the Heat in Phoenix.  At 10:00, it looks like the Warriors will have Steph Curry as they take on the Blazers before the last game of the day gets going on ESPN featuring the Thunder and the Lakers who are getting a second straight night of national coverage.

With so many options to choose from, don’t get overwhelmed by the sheer number of possibilities, but focus on a few matchups you should be able to exploit. I’ve assembled some of my favorite plays of the day for my DraftKings daily picks which you can find on the following slides. There is a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options at each position, and on each slide you’ll find at least two players with a few extras thrown in wherever possible. I base my picks on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

This year, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system check out the last slide of this post, but in short the more stars that are after a player’s analysis the more confidence I have in the pick. I’ll be including the results of my selections on the final slide of this post soon once I have a solid sample size to analyze.  Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineups for tonight’s contests.
