Denver Nuggets mascot Rocky, bystanders cover Grizzlies fan in silly string (Video)

The Denver Nuggets mascot and all of the fans in one section showered one fan and covered him in silly string

Begin scene: you’re a Memphis Grizzlies fan who happens to live in Colorado. The Grizz are playing the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night, so you decide to leap at the opportunity to watch your favorite team play. Midway through the game, you decide that you’re a bit hungry and need something to wash some food down with, so you go to the concessions stand. With Nuggets mascot Rocky lurking, this is where the fatal error is made.

That’s what assumedly happened on Thursday at the Grizzlies-Nuggets game in Denver and, when said fan got back to his seat with his food and beverage, Rocky and the rest of the fans in his section were waiting for him with an unpleasant surprise. As he re-occupied his seat, the mascot and fans all turned on him to shower him in a blizzard of silly string:

This seems like hell come to Earth. Have you ever smelled silly string? It has the aroma of an old dirty diaper soaked in paint thinner. Having your entire body covered in that much of it has to be unhealthy and is the most unpleasant outcome of supporting the away team at an NBA game.

Rocky is always up to his devious ways at Nuggets games, but this may be the most devious yet. Someone put this Grizzlies fan in contact with Russell Westbrook, who I’m sure would be happy to put the Denver mascot in his place.
