Fort Worth Police Officers Association follow Johnny Manziel on Twitter

After trying to locate Johnny Manziel with a helicopter, the Forth Worth Police Officers association began following him on Twitter.

The story of Johnny Manziel’s altercation with his girlfriend continues to get more and more strange. On Saturday, the quarterback for the Cleveland Browns reportedly had an altercation in Fort Worth with his girlfriend.

The police came out to the house and spoke to a 23-year-old female presumed to be his girlfriend and the police confirmed that a possible assault may have taken place. While no one was arrested, no one could locate Manziel and his girlfriend was worried for his well being.

The police ended up using a helicopter to try and locate Manziel as they stepped up their efforts. Then in an even stranger move, the Forth Worth Police Officers Association began following Manziel on Twitter.

Perhaps they are trying to follow him on social media to see if they can get any sign of where he is at or where he might be heading, but this story has been something else. Manziel already came into the off-season with a lot of questions surrounding him.

With many teams hesitant already to give him another chance, this situation certainly doesn’t help matters anymore in regards to him staying in the NFL. He’s no stranger to social media and partying, which could be why the Forth Worth Police Officers Association is checking his Twitter out.

Or maybe they just decided to shoot him a follow. Whatever the case may be, this whole thing is really strange.
