Robert Lewandowski claims that Pep Guardiola will do well wherever he goes, including the Premier League.

Despite numerous rumors and reports suggesting that Robert Lewnadowski could be on his way out of Germany, the striker continues to perform on the pitch. With Carlo Ancelotti taking over for Pep Guardiola at the end of the campaign, there has been a lot of speculation linking Lewandowski with a move to England or Spain.

The rumors haven’t been much of a distraction for the Polish international though, as he has still managed to perform on the pitch. He has an incredible 19 league goals in 18 games under Guardiola’s tutelage this season, adding two more to his account in Bayern Muncich’s 2-0 win against Hoffenheim on Sunday.

Following the victory, Lewandowski backed his current manager by suggesting he would do well wherever he went, including the Premier League.

“I know Pep can improve a team in England,” the striker told the Mail, via Sky Sports.

“He will focus on technique and perhaps more possession than is the norm in England. But Pep knows the Premier League is different from the Spanish league or the Bundesliga. I’m sure he can do something new in terms of tactics and technique.”

While the Spanish tactician hasn’t confirmed his next club yet, he has said he plans to coach in England and multiple reports have suggested that he has agreed to take over at Manchester City next year. Although nothing is official yet, Lewandowski told the Mail that he believes the coach already knows where he is heading next.

“I think he knows where he’s going and he knows what he needs to do with the team he’s going to, so that they play much better.” Lewandowski said, via Sky Sports.

Bayern Munich are well on their way to winning their third consecutive Bundesliga title with Guardiola at the helm, as they are now eight points clear of Borussia Dortmund atop the table. They have an impressive 52 points from 19 matches, and remain alive in both the Pokal Cup, as well as, the UEFA Champions League.

Bayern Munich will be back in action next weekend against Bayer Leverkusen and the red hot Chicharito, on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET.
