Karl-Anthony Towns fakes pass, hits three (Video)
Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns made a beautiful play to fake a pass and drill a three.
The young Minnesota Timberwolves put on a strong showing on the road against a good Los Angeles Clippers team on ESPN on Wednesday night. The Timberwolves have been struggling lately as they plummet toward the bottom of the Western Conference, but their young talent has seem to have gotten better with each passing game, which is the most important thing at the end of the day.
Against the Clippers on Wednesday night, Karl-Anthony Towns had himself quite the game against the Clippers. Along with the usual big slams, Towns was making some veteran-like moves out deep beyond the arc.
After getting fed a pass from Andre Miller out deep, Towns looked like he was going to pass to a wide open Zach LaVine. That’s what J.J. Reddick though anyways, as Towns decided to keep the ball and he drilled a beautiful three.
Rookies shouldn’t be able to make moves like that, let alone a big man, but that’s the type of talent that Towns is when he gets the ball in his hands.
Unfortunately for Reddick, he thought there was no way that Towns would unload from deep and it came back to bite him as he bit on the fake and took LaVine.
Nicely done.
