High Value C

Nikola Jokic-Denver Nuggets (5,700): Jokic had a great run at the end of January and the first few games of February posting at least 35 fantasy points in five of seven games before cooling off with three straight sub-par performances before the break.  He’s in a great matchup against the Kings tonight who have allowed more fantasy points to opposing centers over their last five and ten games than any other team in the NBA. If Jokic can return to his earlier form, he’ll be a huge value, but he is a risk since the center minutes in Denver are always unpredictable.

Enes Kanter-Oklahoma City Thunder (5,200): Kanter has continued to produce coming off the bench for the Thunder as a solid offensive option down low. He has scored in double digits in seven straight games with four double-doubles during that time and at least 27 fantasy points in four of his last seven contests. He is no sure thing since he is coming off the bench, but I like his matchup tonight against the Pacers.

Alex Len-Phoenix Suns (4,600): With Markieff Morris shipped out, Alex Len should get plenty of playing time the rest of the way at PF next to Tyson Chandler.   Len is in a good matchup to start with tonight against the Rockets who allow more fantasy points to opposing PF than any other team in the NBA, and he could be set up for a huge game.  He had 12 points and 18 rebounds to dow tim two assists against Houston when he faced them a few weeks ago producing 36.6 fantasy points. He has been hit or miss due to inconsistent playing time, but with Morris out of the picture, he could be a great bargain for as long as he stays affordable.

Tyler Zeller-Boston Celtics (3,600): If you decide you have to go ultra-cheap at your center spot, the option that I think has the most potential is the Celtics Tyler Zeller who should get more minutes with Kelly Olynyk sidelined for a few weeks.  Zeller had three games with over 25 fantasy points in a four-game stretch at the beginning of the month but played very limited time in the C’s last two games before the break.  If he gets 20 minutes of playing time, Zeller will be a solid cheap flier tonight.
