WCC Tournament 2016 Printable Bracket

A look at the 2016 WCC Tournament bracket that is set and ready to get underway

The college basketball world is about to kick into high gear in the coming weeks with March Madness sitting just around the corner. Before the 2016 NCAA Tournament tips off, though, the conference tournaments have to play out to see which teams earn automatic bids. The WCC Tournament will be one of the first to determine which teams earn an automatic bid.

In a bit of a shocker in the West Coast Conference this season, the Gonzaga Bulldogs were unable to runaway with the conference and will actually enter the WCC Tournament as the No. 2 seed while the Saint Mary’s Gaels occupy the top spot. However, it’s not just Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s that will be vying for the West Coast Conference title.

Both the Pepperdine Waves and the BYU Cougars have looked impressive at various points throughout the season. Given the right circumstances, both teams could foreseeably earn an upset victory and send the WCC Tournament into disarray.

That’s the way that the field shakes out. You’ll notice that the Pacific Tigers are not included in the WCC Tournament, which is because they are holding themselves to a self-imposed postseason ban. Considering that they went 8-20 overall this season, though, it’s hard to say they would’ve been viable contenders in any regard.
