Roddy White was cut by the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday, so where will he play in 2016.

The Roddy White era with the Atlanta Falcons came to an end late Wednesday afternoon, as the NFC franchise parted ways with its all-time leading wide receiver. White was a late first round pick of the Falcons out of UAB in 2005.

While his first few seasons in the NFL were forgettable, he helped the franchise become the best team in the NFC during the height of the Mike Smith era in Flowery Branch (2008-12). White went to four Pro Bowls and was named to one All-Pro team in his 11 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. He leaves the franchise as the all-time leader in receptions (808), receiving yards (10,863), and receiving touchdowns (63).

White had two more years remaining on his contract with the Falcons and may wish to continue playing in the NFL for another couple of years before calling it a career. While he would play the 2016 NFL season at 35 years old, White may ultimately play for one more team before retiring from the NFL as a fantastic receiver during his prime.

Since he’s clearly past his prime as a wide receiver, White would have to go to a situation that he can possession receive in the middle of the field as a slot receiver/tight end hybrid. His sure-handedness and physicality would make several teams have interest in the career Falcon wideout. If he chooses to extend his NFL career beyond the Falcons, here are five teams that should consider signing White for 2016.
