DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 8
High Salary PF
Paul Millsap-Utah Jazz (8,000): Millsap had 20 points and 18 boards against the Clippers on Saturday putting together a monster 56.5 fantasy points. He’ll be in a grudge match tonight against his former team in Utah as the Hawks continue their trip West, and he should be able to put together another solid performance. Millsap has at least 47 fantasy points in three of his last five games and has three performances of at least 55 fantasy points in his last ten. If you can afford him, he should be motivated enough to bring home a big number of fantasy points tonight.∗∗∗
LaMarcus Aldridge-San Antonio Spurs (6,800): Aldridge takes on the Timberwolves young front line tonight in Minnesota, and he showed no signs of rust returning from a one-game absence due to migraines. Last night, he had 23 points, 12 boards, and two blocks for 45.5 fantasy points against the Pacers and he now has at least 38 fantasy points in four straight contests with three double-doubles during that span. He should be able to put together a good game against Gorgui Dieng and Karl-Anthony Towns tonight, and he’ll need to play plenty of minutes since the T-Wolves usually play big throughout the game.∗∗∗∗∗
Aaron Gordon-Orlando Magic (6,700): Gordon was rolling along after finally earning his starting spot in Orlando before hitting a few bumps in the road at the beginning of the month. He had two games where he struggled based on matchup finishing with just 20.75 fantasy points and 5.5 fantasy points while playing under 20 minutes in each contest. However, he looked good last night scoring 20 points and adding 16 rebounds against the Warriors for a total of 44 fantasy points. He helped with some of the work down low with Nikola Vucevic out, and should get plenty of run again tonight in a good matchup against LA who have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing PF so far this season. ∗∗
Kenneth Faried-Denver Nuggets (6,400): “The Manimal” returned in full form on Sunday as Faried posted 25 points and 20 rebounds agasint the Mavericks for an impressive 57 fantasy points. He has five double-doubles in his last six games and may finally be healthy enough to get good playingng time down the stretch for Denver. It has been an injury-filled and disappointing season for Faried, but he is showing he can still be a beast on the glass. He should be a good play against the Knicks tonight who will likely have to start Derrick Williams instead of Kristaps Porzingis who continues to battle a leg contusion.∗∗∗∗∗
