TCU Horned Frogs vs. Texas Tech Red Raiders
The TCU Horned Frogs enter the 2016 Big 12 Tournament as the bottom seed after a rough regular season. Meanwhile, the Texas Tech Red Raiders were up and down for much of the year and are now looking to boost their NCAA Tournament resume with a strong showing in the Big 12 Tournament. The two teams will get things going in the first round of the tourney at the Spring Center on Wednesday night.

The Red Raiders haven’t had one player really standing a cut above the rest this season, meaning it’s hard to peg a singular player that they need to step up in the Big 12 Tournament. However, any one of Roddrick Gotcher, Devaugntah Williams, Aaron Ross, or Zach Smith doing so would be the most beneficial. As for TCU, if they’re to have a chance in the Big 12 Tournament they’ll need Chauncey Collins and Malique Trent to essentially have the runs of their lives throughout, starting on Wednesday against the Red Raiders.
