If you’ve ever watched a Selection Sunday show before, you know how exciting it is to hear the name of your favorite team called, especially if it’s for a higher seed than you were anticipating.

There are a handful of teams fighting for the four No. 1 seeds and one squad, Kansas, has already wrapped one up — barring some type of unforeseen selection committee decision. The Jayhawks are the No. 1 team in the country right now and just won the Big 12 Tournament title.

Michigan State is another team fighting for a top seed, playing for the Big Ten Tournament crown on Sunday afternoon while Villanova was defeated by Seton Hall in a shocking upset which might knock them from one-seed contention.

North Carolina, Virginia and even Oregon are all still fighting while the field is as wide open as it has ever been with plenty of teams talented enough to win it all, but no clear favorite.

Gear up for an exciting selection show on Sunday evening because this year’s NCAA Tournament is about to be wild.
