A look at the field and a printable version of the 2016 NCAA Women’s bracket

March Madness is the best time of year in college basketball and it’s not exclusive to the men’s game by any stretch. The NCAA Women’s Tournament is one of the most enthralling and quality hoops of the year on an annual basis. The 2016 tourney is no exception to that, though everyone is again going to be gunning for the UConn Huskies at the top spot of the 2016 NCAA Women’s bracket.

As has been the case for the past three seasons as they’re coming off of three-straight national championships, the UConn Huskies are undoubtedly the favorites to win it all. Joining them on that No. 1 seed line, though, will be three teams that were incredible in their own right this season as they each lost only one game in the regular season. If you had to pick someone other than UConn, you have to think that the South Carolina Gamecocks, Baylor Bears, or Notre Dame Fighting Irish would be the pick.

Following up those four No. 1 seeds that combined to lose only three games on the season are the second-tier of teams that aren’t quite at that level, but are still more than talented enough to make some noise. The Oregon State Beavers, Maryland Terrapins, Arizona State Sun Devils, and TEAM all fall in as the No. 2 seeds in the 2016 NCAA Women’s bracket.
