The inaugural bracket for the first-ever Vegas 16 tournament has finally been released

Selection Sunday has come and gone, and with that we have the brackets for the NCAA Tournament, the NIT and the CBI. With Monday night here, we even have the bracket for the NCAA Women’s Tournament. But folks must not forget that there is one more bracket to look at this season, that being the bracket for the inaugural Vegas 16 Tournament.

Yes, this season there are a few more teams that didn’t make any of the other postseason tournaments that will get the chance to play on anyway. 16 lucky teams who may have been left out of the postseason fold will keep on playing. For a larger version of the bracket to print, you can visit this link here.

That being said, here is a look at the very first ever Vegas 16 Tournament bracket.

Now, yes, the first thing here that you’re going to realize is the fact that there are only eight teams, not 16 as advertised. It was announced earlier on Monday that the tournament had in fact failed to fill half of the slots, not exactly getting things off to a rousing start with the event.

Nonetheless, it’s still more college basketball to watch for people that just genuinely love the sport, and it will all take place from March 28-30.
