A look at the live scoring results from the NCAA Tournament First Round game between Chattanooga vs Indiana.

Want to see a huge sign of disrespect? The Indiana Hoosiers were No. 10 in the nation heading into the Big Ten Tournament as the conference’s regular season champ, lost to Michigan and were dropped all the way to a No. 5 seed. Will they be able to prove that was a mistake by the committee and make a deep run?

Yogi Ferrell was a finalist for Big Ten Player of the Year, but the senior point guard lost out to Michigan State’s Denzel Valentine, the likely national player of the year. Ferrell can lead this team to a Final Four, though. He’s averaging 17 points, 5.5 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game. Hard to believe Indiana is doing all of this without James Blackmon Jr.

Despite being a member of the under-appreciated Southern Conference, the Chattanooga Mocs have put together a nice little season that shouldn’t go without recognition or respect. Chattanooga has beaten power conference teams like Illinois and Georgia and also taking down current No. 7 seed Dayton Flyers.

The Mocs aren’t overly impressive in any aspect, but have a decent defense, ranking 53rd in the nation in points allowed per game. Casey Jones leads the way with 12.6 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game while Tre’ McLean is another name to keep an eye on. The latter is averaging 12.3 points and 6.4 boards per contest.
