Baylor star Taurean Prince hilariously and testily explained rebounding in press conference after being upset by Yale

The Baylor Bears were victims of the first real upset of the 2016 NCAA Tournament on Thursday. The No. 5 Bears got smacked in the mouth unexpectedly by Makai Mason and the No. 12 Yale Bulldogs and were ousted in the First Round for the second-straight year. As you’d expect, the seniors for Baylor like Taurean Prince were frustrated after the loss. Lucky for the entertainment factor, though, Prince took that frustration by being incredibly sarcastic with a reporter in the post-game press conference.

While up at the podium, a reporter brought up the fact that Yale ultimately won the battle on the boards against Baylor. The same reporter then asked, with a bit of disbelief in his tone, “How does Yale out-rebound Baylor” What ensued was arguably the best moment of the tournament yet as Taurean Prince proceeded to break down how you get a rebound in the most literal sense possible:

Some people, especially considering that Prince’s attitude throughout the upset loss wasn’t all that great, are going to skewer the Baylor senior for this type of thing—but that doesn’t make it any less hilarious. The hammer-line at the end of “and that’s considered a rebound” before saying that Yale got more than the Bears is just comedy gold.

Be warned, reporters; when young men have a live microphone after a tough loss and you ask a question that they may take as disrespectful, expect a fair amount of sarcasm in the response.
