Kansas is heading off to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament and here’s a look at the bracket.

Like the No. 1 Virginia Cavaliers before them, the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks are the second No. 1 seed on the day in March Madness to move onto the NCAA Tournament Second Round, after they absolutely obliterated No. 16 Austin Peay.

With the big win to begin their run in the South Region of the NCAA  Tournament, the Jayhawks will now play the No. 8 UConn Huskies on Saturday, in Des Moines, Iowa. The Huskies made a rally in the second half on Thursday, as they defeated the Colorado Buffaloes.

It was a great day all around for the stars of Kansas, as Wayne Selden Jr., Perry Ellis and everyone else had big days to lead the Jayhawks to a great start to March Madness. However, they have to be prepared for a much more difficult battle from the Huskies, who are one of the most well-coached teams in the country under Kevin Ollie. The two schools have combined for 5 National Championships since 1999.

With Kansas moving on, here’s a look at the updated 2016 NCAA Tournament bracket.
