Brice Johnson certainly came ready to drop the hammer Monday night against Villanova

Throughout the course of this season and the NCAA Tournament, we’ve seen North Carolina’s Brice Johnson become one of the most ferocious players in the country. When he gets the ball in the lane, very rarely are you going to be able to stop whatever it is he plans on doing.

Villanova is learning this the hard way in the national title game.

Just as the second half of the most important game of the season got underway, Johnson was flipped the ball in a crowded lane, and once again, he absolutely dropped the hammer.

It’s so hard to deal with Johnson, but that’s the task that’s in front of Villanova on Monday night. If they can’t get Johnson under control when he gets the ball down low like that, then their chances of a title might slip away down the stretch.

This was the second time in this one that Johnson put on a show with his dunking attributes and it might not be the last.
