Craig Sager interviewed Michael Jordan on Monday night and it was everything

Given the recent news that we heard about Craig Sager and his cancer prognosis, anytime that we get to see him on the television is priceless. Already this past weekend, it was something special when we saw him interview Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim following the Orange’s Final Four loss.

Well, on Monday night during the national title game, we got another great moment to remember.

Michael Jordan, as everyone knows, is in the house to support the Tar Heels and at one point in the broadcast, two of the greatest men in the history of basketball had a little chat.

And it was simply everything.

I mean, what more could you really ask for, right?

Sager asked him about the win over Georgetown, but really, was anyone paying attention to anything other than those two men standing next to one another.

The Turner sideline reporter has left such a mark on the game at all levels that his mere presence could bring about such a reaction from around the basketball world. But when you put him next to Jordan, it gets that much better.

Everyone is pulling for Sager to do what he said and beat this prognosis so we can get more interviews like this.
