Villanova Wildcats vs. North Carolina Tar Heels
The 2016 NCAA Tournament was another edition of maybe the greatest sporting event of the year taking us on one hell of a wild ride. However, Monday night it’s time to find out who the best team in all the land is, as the North Carolina Tar Heels and Villanova Wildcats will battle it out in the National Championship Game.
This game on Monday night will be a battle between two of the most complete teams in the country with stars such as Villanova’s Kris Jenkins and Ryan Arcidiacono trying to outdo the likes of North Carolina’s Brice Johnson and Marcus Paige. Monday night has the potential to be one of the best title games we’ve seen in a while.

Keys to Victory
For the North Carolina Tar Heels, they need to get all of the defensive rebounds that they can. We’ve seen time and time again that when Villanova gets second chances, they very rarely don’t make the most of those opportunities. On the season, the Heels hold the advantage in rebounds per game, so if there is any contest in which they’d like to flex those rebounding muscles, it’s Monday night against the Wildcats one more time. Get the ball off the glass and move it in transition so Paige, Johnson and the rest of this efficient Carolina team can get the buckets on the other end of the floor.
As for Villanova, their terrific ball movement will have to come into play one more time. In their route of Oklahoma in the Final Four on Saturday, they were fantastic on the offensive end of the floor in this facet of the game and it resulted in Jenkins getting multiple open looks from three and Arcidiacono as well. Carolina has a bit more length than Oklahoma had, so they’ll have to be a little quicker with getting those open shots off as well. But there’s no denying that they can those looks.
And yeah, keeping that Brice Johnson guy off the glass as much as possible would help, too.

Prediction
This one really is tough, because here you have two teams that showed us all year that they are two of the best the country has to offer, and here they are now battling for the ultimate prize in the game — which is really all you can ask for when it comes to any sport. But, there can only be one winner.
That winner will more than likely be North Carolina, who just seems to be on a different level than anyone else for the most part. They’re more athletic, longer and can clean up the glass seemingly with ease. Monday night Villanova won’t get a lot of those second-chance looks they’ve been getting, and in the end, Roy Williams walks away with his third national title as the Heels head coach.
