Villanova fans, players and coaches will want to college all the newspapers they can after the title win especially the Philly Daily News.

The Philly Daily News perfectly summed up the Villanova Wildcats title win with one headline that will feature on their Tuesday cover. It’s a fitting way to celebrate ‘Nova’s first title win since 1985 as Philadelphia celebrates the impressive feat.

Hopefully, the Philly Daily News delivers some of these papers to Villanova’s campus and the athletic department for free. The men’s basketball team deserves it after bringing home the title to Philadelphia after defeating the North Carolina Tar Heels, 77-74, in thrilling fashion. The Wildcats were definitely thrilling as they controlled the game for most of the second half.

Newspapers may be a dying news medium, but it should not be surprising that they sell out of these papers. They become collector items for fans and are a great way to remember the game for those who played in it for years to come. Philly Daily News will definitly get people to pick up their publication with the “Thirllanova” cover title and shot for Tuesday’s edition.

No one will forget the game-winning shot anytime soon, and this cover will help jog people’s memory of the historic game when fans start to forget about it.
