Even thoughĀ nothing is official yet, Timberwolves fans have every reason to be excited. When itās Wojnarowski doing the reporting and Thibodeau is the coach in question, the future looks even brighter in Minnesota.
Thibodeau isĀ the kind of defensive coach that should flourish with the Timberwolves. From Karl-Anthony Towns in the paint to Andrew Wiggins on the perimeter, thereās so much potential to further unleash.
In fact, if Thibodeau is hired, it will merely be a comeback for him ā he started his NBA coaching career as an assistant with the T-Wolves back in 1989-91.
