NHL Playoffs: What channel is Capitals vs. Penguins Game 4 on?
What channel can fans view Game 4 of the Washington Capitals versus Pittsburgh Penguins series on?
Game 4 of the Washington Capitals versus Pittsburgh Penguins series is tonight. Coverage begins at 8:00 PM EST. Pittsburgh will face an uphill battle since they will be without their top two defensemen. Olli Maatta is still injured after being hit by Caps defenseman Brooks Orpik in Game 2, while Kris Letang has been suspended for Game 4 after a nasty late hit on Caps forward Marcus Johansson in Game 3. Game 4 at Consol Energy Center should be an interesting one.
Washington trails the series two games to one, so the team will look to take advantage of a shorthanded Penguins defense. The Capitals will be looking to build on their success in Game 3. Despite losing 3-2, the Caps dominated for most of the game and significantly outshot the Penguins. They’ll be looking to split the two games in Pittsburgh and head back to the Verizon Center for Game 5. Caps captain Alex Ovechkin looked like his old self against the Pens in Game 3. Look for him to have a huge game in Game 4.
The Penguins will be counting on rookie goaltender Matthew Murray to continue to carry the team like he did in Game 3. Game 4 will be televised on NBC Sports Network. The game can also be viewed on your computer or your smartphone via NBC Sports Live Extra.
