1. Chandler Parsons

When he’s healthy and playing at full strength, Chandler Parsons proved last year with the Dallas Mavericks that he’s more than capable of being a top-tier NBA player on the wing. Though his defense is inconsistent, he’s capable of playing well on that end of the floor and his offensive abilities and versatility speak for themselves. And with the Mavericks reportedly having no interest in re-signing him, that makes him a seemingly ideal fit for the Timberwolves.

Minnesota again is in need of a small forward that can play and defend multiple positions for a team and a player that can knock down shots on the perimeter. And again, Parsons is another player that can fill that void. What sets him apart from the others, though, is that he seems like the most attainable option among the players that could slot into that role for the Timberwolves.

However, there are certainly some warranted concerns when it comes to Parsons. He’s been severely banged up over the past two seasons and there are lingering concerns about if his knee has any kind of lingering damage that could hinder him moving forward. The Wolves would need to be confident that he’s healthy if they were to make a move for Parsons, but he’s a player that would fit incredibly well if that’s the case.
