Manchester City face Sunderland at the Etihad in the Premier League on Saturday. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Manchester City begin the Pep Guardiola era at home, looking to reestablish the domestic dominance that led them to Premier League titles in 2012 and 2014. This game could also mark the debuts of John Stones, Nolito and Oleksandr Zinchenko. Other summer signings Leroy Sané and Ilkay Gundogan are out with a hamstring and knee injury, respectively. Stones may be the man to watch, not only because of the £47.5 million City paid for him, but because their backline is missing captain Vincent Kompany, who is out with a thigh injury, and the team may also be missing Nicolas Otamendi, who has a tendon problem. That could force the always adventurous Eliaquim Mangala into action, despite his relative lack of training time following the Euros.

Sunderland barely managed to escape relegation last season under Sam Allardyce, who is now coaching the English national team. New manager David Moyes impressed at Everton before a disastrous season following Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford and an unsuccessful year at La Liga’s Real Sociedad. The Black Cats new manager has brought in Papy Djilobodji from Chelsea and a pair of young defenders from Manchester United, Donald Love and Paddy McNair. Sunderland will be tested at the back early and often this year, especially with a tough opener on the road against Man City’s star-powered attack.
